Bocce
Bocce – is a precision, dexterity game similar to pétanque. Its origins are ancient, since bocce is based on a game which had been played in the Roman Empire. The game takes place on a clear soil pitch, limited by wooden planks. The pitch dimensions are usually of 25 by 3 meters. A game can involve either a one-on-one duel or a match between two teams of up to 4 players each. The goal for the players is to roll their bocce in such a way that, when each series of rolls is finished, their bocce are closer to the pallino (a small white ball) then those of the opponents.
