On September 3rd 2009 Hungry4sport.com, a new social networking website, was launched. It has been designed for everyone who finds sport an important part of life.
This exceptional website is a result of months of hard work of five partners, both privately and professionally engaged in sports. Our team includes a member of the Polish national team, a referee and a coach, and amateur sportsmen practicing different sports.
Hungry4sport.com is a place where everyone can create his/her own World of Sport and show it to the others in a unique, multimedia way. Thanks to this website one will be able to meet sports enthusiasts, professional athletes, coaches and many more. The site also includes useful tips and information regarding sports-related places and gear. Everyone will find something interesting here!
We want hungry4sport.com to combine what’s best about Facebook, Youtube, Linked-in, Zoomi and Nasza-Klasa, and put together their most interesting characteristics in one sporty formula. Without all the notorious ads!
On our website all revolves around the open Sports Data Base which, at the present stage, includes over 600 entries. It can, however, be freely extended, since each user can add sports disciplines to the data base, no matter how exotic some of them may seem. There are no limitations! One can, for example, add a long forgotten sport from the olden days or a recently invented niche sport practiced only in a circle of friends. Sports can be described in any language. The multilingualism of our website enables its users to learn about sports practiced all over the world, meet new people, share experiences and, perhaps, find out things about sport they couldn’t even have imagined before.
